Guilain Desenclos

Bassoon

Guilain Desenclos is a bassoonist, composer and actor. He has been studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon since 2022. He performs as a guest musician with various orchestras (Lyon Opera, Orchestre National d’Île-de-France, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg).

A multidisciplinary artist, he collaborates with creators from a range of artistic disciplines. In collaboration with Séverine Chavrier, he helped create the play Aria da Capo, which has been performed at prestigious venues in France and across Europe (Théâtre de la Ville (Paris), Théâtre des Amandiers, Athénée, Teatro de la Abadía, TNS…). He also took part in the recording of Lucie Antunes’ album Silence.

Alongside his work as a performer, Guilain commissions productions of his works and shows in various cities across France and Europe (Paris, Lyon, Rouen, Munich, etc.).

In 2024, he co-founded the musical collective Les Vents Marins with Pablo Jumel.
